This project begins with the most commonly known elements associated with Chinese political propaganda.

I design and build grand installations with notable visual impact, without highlighting any specific meaning per piece. Once seen as a whole, the installations together embody a perspective, or argument toward the issue of the current invasion of authoritarianism in China’s public spaces, urban landscapes, and associated impact upon the public.

My goal is to pull people’s attention and consideration to authoritarianism - the uniform signs and installations are not just visually striking but embody a lack of aesthetic due to the influence and purpose of the source.
